  • \u201cProjet EVA, formed by \u00c9tienne Grenier and Simon Laroche, is an artist duo from Montr\u00e9al\r\nwho work with the audience\u2019s discomfort almost as if it was a material in itself.\u201d<\/p>

    Projet EVA artworks explore relations established between humans, their \u00a0environment and its mediation through technological systems.\u00a0The collective focuses mainly on the subtractive effects of technology and media on the human experience, as well as on how the virtual world is increasingly woven into the urban and social landscape, encroaching on physical reality.\u00a0Underneath the collective\u2019s custom made applications, robots and assorted machines lies an inquiry into how technology impacts on the construction of our social and psychological realities as well as our living environment.<\/p>\n
